Course Description - Review, Revision, Update & Legislation

A one day course for health and safety representatives and employees who have responsibilities for OH&S in their workplace. It is crucial that the education of key people who influence OHS performance in the workplace is enhanced.  This course provides a review and update of legislation; accident/incident investigation.

Course Description - Risk Management & OHS Committees

A one day course for health and safety representatives and employees who have responsibilities for OH&S in their workplace. It is crucial that the education of key people who influence OHS performance in the workplace is enhanced. The course includes advanced risk management; health and safety committees; developing OHS policies and procedures and promoting health and safety in the workplace.

Target Group

Elected Health and Safety Representatives, Managers, Supervisors, Health and Safety Coordinators and anyone with an interest in Occupational Health and Safety.

Course Length & Time
Daily - 9.15 am - 4.15 pm daily

No prerequisites

  • Legislation Update
  • Health and Safety Committees
  • Problem Solving in the Workplace
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Becoming More Effective as a Health and Safety Representative

Course Fee

Commonwealth (2 days)
Standard Fee $410 (includes GST)
Commonwealth (1 day)
Standard Fee $220 (includes GST)
 

The Course Fee includes

  • Participant manual

  • Morning and afternoon tea each day

  • Light lunch provided daily (unless regional course)

Cancellation

Cancellation Policy
When an enrolment is cancelled the following cancellation fees will apply.  This can be waived if another course date is booked.

More than 14 days before course commencement date = Full refund
Between 7-14 days before commencement date = 50% refund
Less than 7 days = No refund
